Baby Shower Bingo

I had never played bingo before yesterday. Not even a normal bingo. Yesterday I got to play both the normal and baby shower bingo 😅️. It was a baby shower that was in planning since December last year but we couldn’t make it happen because of a COVID scare in our clique which was thankfully negative. It was good to see some familiar faces after two months! I worry about my daughter not getting enough social interaction but she put my worries to rest and was cool around people. Good food, good company, good times.

I have been experimenting with CSS grid to give this blog a makeover without going over the top. That would definitely bring the homepage over 2KB and the more I change stuff, the more it looks the same and then I wonder if its all worth the effort. My beef is with navigation links and I haven’t been able to settle on a good way to show it on mobile devices.

There’s this new game from the creators of exploding kittens - Kitty Letter. Its an iOS game where you play scrabble arcade style and fight with cats. What’s not to like? In one of the matches, I was going toe to toe with my opponent and clawed back my victory by drawing out one last word from the tiles - LICH. I knew this word only because of the book I was reading last month 😂️. Speaking of books, our bookclub picked the fattest book for the shortest month. This one looks as if it might run into March as well. I will not stress about it though. It ceases to be fun if it becomes another thing to worry about.
